Host Marion and her husband made us feel at home. Prepared a packed breakfast on day one as we had to leave early. Marion also did our washing for free.The Breakfast on the second day was lovely, Lovely quiet neighborhood and 10-minute walk to the city center made our visit enjoyable.

It’s a lovely little apartment, very clean and has everything you need. We stayed for a number of weeks and really felt it was a home from home for our family. The courtyard outside is also very pretty and it feels somewhat magical on an evening when the lights are all on.

Lovely views over the golf course, proximity to Newport station and the M4 makes it a handy location. Check in/out was easy. Shuttle service from hotel to golf club was frequent easy. Room was very specious.

Staff at the bar didn’t alert guests when it was last orders, I didn’t mind, but others were annoyed.

The surroundings were breathtaking - from the pond to the forest walks with unexpected outdoor play/climbing equipment for our older children. Fantastic stay!

No chair in bedroom and the single room was small although have stayed in even smaller rooms elsewhere. Orange juice already on dining room table(no choice)

The mattress had springs digging into you and not comfortable at all! There were VERY strange stains on the carpets, as I work in hospitality including working in housekeeping when there was a shortage. The rooms were dated and the windows didn’t shut properly and the bathroom was not the best, there was what looked like short and curly hairs if you get my drift on the toilet seat and on the floor, as well at dark hairs everywhere on the beds carpets and bathroom floor when we had blonde hair so it obviously wasn’t ours.
