I had to rate this 10 out of 10 albeit it's not perfect - The location is lovely in terms of being next to the river and having your own private beauty spot (shared with 1 other property but feels private) - It was lovely to sit in bed with a cup of coffee with views of the river, wildlife and mountains. Checking in etc was all really easy, shower and bed great, all the facilities you need just a great relaxing experience and highly recommended. This property really is good value for money

As a above I had to rate this property 10 out of 10 as you are not going to find a more beautiful and private location in the lake district for the money we paid - The property does however back directly onto a 60MPH A road and when I say back on to it the property walls are the boundary between the bed and the road (didn't bother me, but, not great for the light sleeper or if you are expecting peace and quiet) - The traffic noise is constant inside and outside the property - The location is also too far to walk to anything and the road too busy to walk out on to get to anything so you can't walk anywhere and the only option is to go out in the car (Its also quite a hairy experience pulling out of the property onto a blind bend, you just have to go for it and hope no-one is coming)!!! The property has been well decorated but it's starting to look a bit bumped and scratched - Its nice enough but will need a spruce up soon I think.

Staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable if a little tired. The bathrooms have shower over the bath with shower curtain and could do with a refresh to walk in shower. Location is good on edge of town, pretty quiet and with easy access to A road

The location was beautiful, the hut was amazing…we really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! We really can’t thank the Hosts enough!

Very dark decore , not a very nice welcome , noone there on arrival, had to wait outside for 10 mins for landlord to arrive , everyone had to pay a bond of £100 per room .

Nice location right on the seafront with easy access to the town and promenade. Great sized room, had a nice stay.

Room only with no breakfast service, but a selection of cereals and bread for toast available. Plenty of places to eat out for breakfast or supermarkets to buy food.

Very poor communication, did not respond to either messages sent through Booking. com or via text. Access system not straightforward- external door access process not easy. Rooms are very close to each other and so cam ge quite noisy.

location was only 6mins from tube station ... hot tub was great, loved the house
