  The location was perfect for our needs. Able to park outside and a short walk to a choice of places for food. We took fish and chips back and sat in the lovely little garden to eat, listening to the water going into the pond.The breakfast was well organised the night before and served in a timely manner at a time of our choice. The hosts were lovely, and very attentive. The breakfast was lovely and hot! Our room was bright and comfortable with good, clean amenities. A tray provided drink options and biscuits. A nice touch was the tall fan as we were in the top room of the house . Tv and WiFi provided.

  Having a shower was little challenging for my husband, being tall and having low ceilings! This however did not spoil our stay and simply was in keeping with the character of the place we chose to stay. So really, there nothing we didn't like!

  We stayed here for a night to catch a ferry in Poole early the next day. The room and hotel was good for the price and I was happy with my stay. The en-suite bathroom was absolutely fine with bath and shower working well. It was clean. I liked the bar and the simple food at a good price. They also do a 3 course meal in the dining room but I just wanted a toasty and crisps and it was fine. The place was fairly busy as I got there about the time a conference or reunion or something was coming to an end. I loved the atmosphere in this old-school hotel with the people around and having a nice time.

  The car park was full but the hotel was busy that day. Good on them I say. I found on street parking very nearby in the residential area so no big deal. The main light in the room is really bright! It's too bright. Normally I wouldn't care but the table lamp didn't work so I used the bathroom light and the door open in the evening. No big deal, just fix the lights in room 147, ta.

  I enjoyed my stay .From the start it was so easy from booking it to leaving .They will keep you informed each step of the way and very quick to respond to your queries. The apartments were very clean and plenty of amenities . We had a wonderful sleep it's was so quiet and very secure. Would definitely stay there again .

  Really lovely B&B. Very reasonable price for our room. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Hospitality tray in the bedroom was well stocked with different types of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Would stay here again.

  A lovely hotel with charming decor, it felt a bit like travelling back in time. Despite having a room with a window facing the main road, it was quite peaceful inside. Additionally, we had a nice view.
