We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as we were seeing Taylor Swift at Wembley for the Eras Tour, the location was perfect only took us 25 minutes in an Uber to get to Wembley stadium. The room was very nice, had a decent bathroom area, mini fridge for us to keep bottled water in as it was really warm and we also had a balcony area. The beds were very comfortable and we also had air conditioning which come in handy

Kevin is a very friendly and accommodating host. Nothing is a problem for him. We were on bikes and he stored them in his shed for us and provided power to recharge the e-bikes. The cottage is beautiful with much attention to detail. The flower boxes were a lovely welcome as was the welcome box and fresh milk in the fridge. We had a very comfortable stay in this beautiful and quiet home.

After the first night, the room wasn't cleaned (I had put the 'make up room' thing on the door. After the 2nd night, the room was cleaned but toilet rolls were not filled up (not even a whole one left) and the used towels were taken but not replaced, just leaving the spare bath towel - no hand towel or bath mat. On the third morning, there was no hot water, although this was fixed by the next day.

The properties views were sensational, the bed was really comfy and the space provided is very big.

The hot tub was not cleaned prior to our arrival, the site manager claimed it was run off of a borehole hence why there was sand in there. After asking for something to clean it myself as he would not get the cleaners to come up was told there was nothing he could do and was quite rude about it. If that is the genuine case then there should be some information explaining this so that it does not come across as unclean. After using my own initiative and cleaning the hot tub myself the ‘sand’ disappeared and did not return unlike what the site manager told me would happen. The oven tray and rack in side of the oven were covered in grease and grime, I had to scrub at this myself before usage, which is not what you expect to be doing when on holiday. The oven itself was not in the best of conditions either. The contact numbers and emails provided in case of emergencies or issues within the lodge did not go through. I would not bother ringing them if you needed to get hold of site management, cleaners, or anyone from Upton lodges at all as their email comes back as an invalid email and the phone number does not go through at all.

Bathroom door hard to close due to catch spring being too stiff. When closing, lots of force required which shook the room. Other rooms had the same design problem.
