I was very impressed with the cleanliness and facilities within the lodge. The check in process was so simple and much more convenient with the lock box holding the key. The space in the lodge was excellent and all had plenty of room to enjoy. I was shocked to see TVs were also in the bedrooms but also that Disney, Amazon Prime and Netflix were included on all TVs and was a nice little add on. We all had a fantastic time and will definitely be booking again soon.

Overall the experience was excellent but a few little notes to make the experience even better are... Additional pillows available if needed. A cover over the hot tub to shelter in case of rain. A screen cover to provide privacy when in the hot tub. A deposit was required a few days before check in to cover any breakages etc, this was taken from my account but didnt return and when queried, they explained that this is only actually held and not taken from the bank, similar to when you add fuel to your car in certain petrol stations. I believe this is done via the venue though and not the lodge owners, no issue but clearer instructions would be beneficial.

The room was very clean and really cozy. My daughter joined me the second evening, however she was going to miss the roast dinner, the staff kindly made her one for me to warm in our room upon arrival. We also had great weather so was able to get out and about and see the lovely village some more. They had a lovely band playing on the Sunday afternoon the pub was very busy.

The breakfast options are phenomenal! Room was well-maintained and spacious. Loved the location as it was accessible to the metros. Took a very short distance on the bus to get to London Bridge along with many other landmarks. The cathedral is right across the street. Spa is absolutely great!

The radiator was permanently on. The thermostatic valve didn't work, so I couldn't switch the heat off. Having the heating on constantly made the room unbearably hot, and I couldn't sleep. Why was the heating on constant in late May? It was unnecessary.
