Rose the owner, went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable, the whole stay was perfect. We were on a cycling trip and arrived in torrential rain, Rose let us put our bikes in her garage and dried our wet clothes ready for the following day, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great too 😁

lovely hotel . excellent standard room, lovely bathroom and massive comfortable bed. staff excellent especially in pizza restaurant. cleaning very good. bar very noisy during Newcastle match as expected and outside tv noisy until 1020 but understandable as was a ice night and a big match.

Great location for surrounding area. Exceptionally clean & tidy. Fabulous hosts very warm & friendly. Lovely breakfast and was so nice to have plenty of tea, coffee, fresh orange juice and milk available and replenished when required.

Size of room, decor, sink in bedroom should be in bathroom, no shower mat very very slippery, only 1 chair in the room for 2 people REALLY!! had to use Ipad to control everything! When you need to the toilet you have to search for the Ipad for the lights,no service to speak of, and expensive for offering not a lot, I'd like my money back.

Not prepared for large influx of visitors in the breakfast room. No mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, no bread or yogurt or marmalade. Not enough staff all working hard but not prepared.
