Staff were really accommodating, we tried a number of activities which were all great, and drinking a cold beer in the sunset looking over the lake was remarkably chilled. Being able to bring our pet dog into the bar and enjoy live music, football on TV and a great atmosphere was even better!

The location was perfect, right in front of the Iron Bridge. Great to have everything on your doorstep. Housekeeping was top notch, they even tidied our tidy room.

Cooked breakfast could have bee a lot hotter. We did mention this on the first morning to two members of staff. The next morning the food was slightly warmer but not hot.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The inn was reasonably close to the city centre. The mini fridge was very handy.

We only had one pillow each and on asking for another each, only one could be found. There was a bloodstain on the bathroom door, the wallpaper is falling off the bathroom ceiling and the shower pressure is very weak. There was no reception as such and staff weren’t there before the afternoon or later at night.

Gorgeous room, spotless and welcoming treats for my birthday celebrations. A perfect stay. Great location for the theatre.

The only down side was the noise levels from the streets - not awful, but noticeable. I’d definitely still return!

I was extremely disappointed with the breakfast offered. The breakfast experience was truly awful and significantly marred my stay.Firstly, the selection was extremely limited. There were very few options to choose from, and those available were of poor quality. At 8 o'clock when I entered the breakfast room, most of the things on the buffet had already been eaten and noone seemed bothered to replenish the buffet.
