  Room was clean and good but sound-proofing less than ideal as footsteps from room above were very distinct. Bathroom light by sink was too large and in the wrong position (I hit my head on it) and no help when shaving since lighting was from one side only. Guide in room indicated that there were more choices for breakfast than were actually available. Kitchen managed to produce good food for dinner; less good for breakfast. Small staff numbers meant food took some time to arrive. Overall, not bad but could have been better.

  Bedroom was not well insulated for noise from room above. Mirror in bathroom not illuminated efficiently for shaving (or make-up).

  Stayed in ROOM 3 bed still broken, uncontrolled scolding shower, scuffed walls but at least ticking clock had been taken down. Didn't get to sample the food as was closed coming from overseas didn't know would be closed on a Sunday afternoon which had been the point of us booking a 4 star inn. Lesson learnt.

  Room was really hot - couldnt keep window open as on road. Woken at 1.45am by dustbin lorry doing collection closely followed by a lorry collecting linen! Bathroom bit tired Lots of rubbish & cigarette butts on top of porch which wasnt very pleasant to look at.
