We really enjoyed staying in the lovely, cosy, Crosland Cottage in Holmfirth these past couple of days. The cottage is superb throughout, extremely clean and tidy with thoughtful decorations etc, and this all adds to the special atmosphere of this very nice place. We particularly liked the comfy beds, the kitchen and the bathroom, and the welcoming and cosy lounge, with the really memorable view out of the window over the town of Holmfirth. The outdoor gardens leading up to the cottage are delightful and Holmfirth itself is well worth a visit, especially for all BBC-TV 'Last of the Summer Wine' fans! :) A great stay, with great hosts and we hope to be back again one day in the future. Thank-you. :)

We were very happy on this occasion thank-you. We just need to both get a little bit fitter to cope with the inclines and declines of the terrain / streets of Holmfirth itself! This can't be helped really, but we had a lovely stay. Thank-you. :)

Everything. Communications with Trish were great and the property was in an excellent condition. The exceptional views over the valley did not disappoint.

The View has the quirks of a very old property with very uneven steps to access the property. Fine for our family but this would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues or pushchairs etc.

I liked the room in general it was a nice enough size, the bed was comfy and we was provided with the balcony I asked for when I booked

The fact that I was provided with 1 toilet roll, my tv didn’t work during the period of my stay and the fact when I went to have a coffee/tea in the morning my mugs were absolutely filthy. They had not been changed previously and was stuck to the side by the coffee machine and was sticky inside! Disgusting you would think that there cleanliness would be top priority especially after COVID

The Mattress on the bed was horrendous we couldn’t sleep properly for it either needs replacing or a quality mattress topper put on

The hot water was impossible to regulate, the bathroom is meant for only one person, the drain was clogged , I arrived late and so the property is difficult to see at night as it's one door without any lights, even the Uber driver struggled!, the apartment is on level 2 and so climbing up the stairs may be be difficult with heavy bags
