Positive section of review
Warm welcome from the hosts, fresh flowers in the hut, fresh bread, milk and fruit juice . Peace and quiet. The hut was very clean with a lovely comfy bed. The bird feeder on the window by the bed meant we were visited each morning by two squirrels, siskins and blue tits. We were lucky with the weather and witnessed lovely sunsets whilst enjoying a BBQ and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back for a third.

Nothing. However, for information only, there is some patio work ongoing outside the owners' property, which we were given advance notice of, this could be difficult for some guests to negotiate. However help was offered by the hosts if needed.

Although the house didn't look very inviting from outside, the flat was really nice. Effective communication with the host. Exceptionally clean and spacious flat. Effective decorations, reflecting a seaside location of the town. Good kitchen, with plenty of utensils. Enough clean towels.

Unfortunately - no table in the kitchen to have a breakfast. The bed was moving (no stoppers on the furniture wheels). The door of the shower cabin was tough, difficult to open. No allocated parking, not easy to find a parking space.

Arrival at the airport by train was quick and the pick-up from there was smooth. The location near the airport was the reason the hotel was chosen. Other hotels nearer the airport were full so I really had little choice at the price paid during the rail strike.

The room was a triple but I could only find one light switch for the main light which was by the door and the room was cold with no way to increase the heating as the single radiator had been turned off. The restaurant menu was limited so I walked into Horley to find a place to eat and drink as there was only one alcoholic drink available in the bar that I wanted. I've stayed at this hotel before in a single room where there was heating in the room and a main light switch near the bed but not in this room. The price for the room was almost double that paid when there was no rail strike.

My only complaint is the New Owner 'who tried to hack into my bank account using BOOKING.COM to pay for my Breakfast etc'' Have made a complaint to staff who have said he has done this before!! Not sure I like the sound of this very young owner!!
