We liked the warm friendly hospitality and the food. The location was great for us visiting friends in Clanfield. The beds were really comfortable and our dog was very welcome

Hotel receptionist very friendly helpful ... location is superb with plenty to do . Room was clean tidy and well presented

When booking wasn't told kids not welcome in the main bar were they have there entertainment. So was bunged in a family room with flipping disney music full blast and no form of entertainment AT ALL ..... my child is 13 she absolutely has no interest in disney music or teddy machines same as most teenagers id imagine however she would have sat well behaved and enjoyed the karaoke going on in the other bar ... kids also not aloud in the separate part of the hotel so had to listen to benefits street arguing and banging all night because they cant handle the blue wkd . Would be very reluctant to stay again due to complete lack of respect towards kids and familys

The price, very friendly staff, ample parking, large room with good shower, and most of the food was very good

Have slept in more comfortable beds, the pillows were fairly hard, and the hairdryer only worked for 5 seconds. The food was good except for the chicken pie dish which had a thick crust, dry chicken in it with little taste, and it was swimming in gravy

Slightly scruffy paintwork in many areas and badly scratched floors, needs a makeover. Outside deck needed sweeping. Ceiling water damage in room. Some staff need better training eg dragging empty bottle bin across deck in front of customers and making a huge noise emptying in skip stopping all conversation.
