No breakfast was provided, it was bedroom only; (for breakfast, for an extra cost, there was a independent restaurant nearby.) The hotel was very convenient for the railway station and there was a convenience shop and and a choice of a few cafes/restaurants close to the hotel. The hotel did provide evening meals (although I met up a friend and we took our meals elsewhere.) Satifactory tea/coffee making facitilities were provided in the room. There was a separate private entrance for the guests. Very little noise was heard from outside the room, even though it was a public house as well as a hotel. The price was reasonable for the accommodation provided.

The room was fairly basic. It consisted of a bed with sheet and duvet and two fairly flat pillows. There was no bedside table and no bedside light. Illumination was provided from a low wattage bulb ceiling light. (A table and wardrobe were provided and were useful.) Shower facilities were provided (including towels) and the shower was effective, although the fittings to the shower cubicle required attention. A television was provided, but was inoperative because there was no remote control. The room itself had no windows; the view from the one window (located in the bathroom) was uninspiring. Overall, the room and facilities reflected the reasonable price charged.

The room was nice and clean, the bed was really comfortable. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers. The shower room was clean and well equiped. There were plenty of towels available. The breakfast buffet was really well organised and the selection was very varied. It was also easy enough to ask for a to-go box for any extras. The bar is also a very nice and quiet area. The pool and hot tub in the spa are a nice relaxation spot. The hotel is a bit of a maze, but the staff was very helpful in guiding me to my room.

The room was on the ground floor near reception so ideal for our stay as my sister has limited ability. The staff were so kind and thoughtful. One of the receptionist took our cases to the room. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The breakfast was exceptional considering the price we paid. A continental and full English selection was available.

Lovely airy twin bedded room, spacious and very clean. Staff were very welcoming and friendly Breakfast was great, plenty of choices. This is our second stay and we would definitely return in the future.

Could of done with a few higher comfortable chairs with arms to sit in, but thats only cause im tall with a bad foot and back the easy chairs were still comfy just harder to get out of. But thats not a criticism just an idea for them
