Positive section of review
It was lovely and clean and neat really close to the beach. I’m a solo full time working mum with a daughter with significant trauma issues so I’m constantly exhausted. it was a lovely calm relaxing evening I even got to go for a nice walk along the beach. I spoke to a few of the neighbours and they were all very nice and welcoming.

The double duvet was a bit small, I have to cuddle my daughter to sleep every night and I had to move in the middle of the night to another bed as I couldn’t get enough of the duvet!

Location was ideal. Free parking was a touch. Customer service was outstanding, Jack, (I think was his name) kindly assisted me with carrying my suitcase as I had a baby in a car seat and there were additional steps after leaving the lift. He also brought up some bits I had delivered unexpectedly.

The pillow cases had marks on them. Dust on the lil’ unit by the toilet - no heating but I was given an electric heater when I pointed this out.

Wonderful B&B. Excellent accommodation. House was wonderful. friendly host and best views. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast lovely. Parking.

The previous guests had been smoking in the room and it smelt heavily of stale smoke and chemical air freshener. We had upgraded our room and on arrival when we were told of the issue we were told there were no rooms available of that type and it was also not possible to go back to the original room request. We were given two drinks vouchers while we waited. At the bar we were told 'we don't serve cocktails here' even though there was a cocktail menu on the table. When we challenged this the bar manager became rude and accused of lying about what we had been told. We asked to speak to a manager but she walked away without further discussion.

The host was nowhere to be seen to make sure everything was ok The house was not clean, there were two men in the living room who left the place dirty The bathroom had phlegm in the sink They were selling weed at the bottom of the stairs and intimidating and smoking thick weed in the air which i inhaled I woke up and there was nobody in the house and the front door was wide open which is against health and safety standards and put us at risks There is basically zero consideration for the customer
