Excellent hosts. Gave really good, clear information on directions/ access to the property etc. The Annexe is immaculate and is very well equipped to a very high standard. Amazing views. Would have been even better if the weather had allowed us to use the outside facilities.

Location was beautiful, the room was clean and had all the amenities you would need. Everything was great. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Food was brilliant, really enjoyed our meal and the breakfast was lovely a fab selection.

The location is beautiful. The grounds are imaculte.

The room was tired, gloomy and dirty. The fan from the bathroom ran all night and so did the voice of a guest below. The room only had 1 lounge chair and the addition of 2 children's bed which were not required. The shower was blocked so had it had standing water in it. I called security for a room change because we could not sleep but they were not given keys to relocate us.

The boiler had been turned to hot water only so the heating didn’t come on, only figured it out on the second day. Very naughty of them and it was freezing! The post code for the property is wrong so it took a while to find, which was rather annoying. Mobile number for guest services didn’t have a clue, I don’t think they’re based in the UK. The corkscrew was broken - also highly annoying. Had to go out and buy myself one. Beds are a bit hard for me but they had nice warm blankets. No proper coffee making facilities. Not even a cafetière. Could do with a hand towel rail or ring in the bathroom.

Room very basic, in need of modernisation. We were both kept awake all night by so called night porter playing loud music on his laptop. Had arranged take away sandwiches as an alternative to breakfast as leaving for early flight. One dry roll & gristle sausages, very poor. Would not recommend.
