Great location inside the south terminal . Easy to find . After a delayed flight we had no choice to book a last minute room . Checked in quick and room was well designed for a one night stay

The suite in the 16th century manor was exceptional. Enormously spacious and very comfortable. It was like staying in a National Trust house.

Pool was pretty poor. Half of it is too shallow to actually swim lengths. There was one section roped off for swimming lessons, and lifeguards were training in the other part. As I specifically booked this place because of the pool, this was very disappointing, and I didn't bother returning during the rest of the week. Sauna was teeny-tiny, space for 2 or 3 people max. Steam room was OK. As you have to pay an extra £10 to visit the pool, don't bother. It would be OK for families with small children, but not for anybody actually wanting to swim. Bar was exceptionally busy all week, and had to wait around 10 mins each time to get served. Food was underwhelming, and wouldn't recommend this place. The Stratford Manor just down the road beats it hands down for food, drink, facilities and price. The only reason to stay here is the fantastic rooms, but only if you get a suite in the 16th century hall building.

A minor point but very poor phone signal in room and unable to access wifi. Not an issue for us but could be worrying if travelling alone. A grab handle above the bath would help when using the shower. The car park exit is blind and straight onto the main road.
