Absolutely stunning location and the most spectacular views . Just breathtaking ! So convenient for the beach and town . Parking very close by . The rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Pillows are especially good . Plentiful supply of hot drinks to make and biscuits too , as well as bottled water . Graham is a fantastic host . He made us feel so welcome and at home and really made my 91 year old uncle feel very special and accommodating his breakfast request which was not on the menu was a very kind gesture . The breakfast offering was very inviting . There was a great selection of a wide variety of fresh fruit and cereals etc . The full English was of high quality , very tasty and well cooked and the coffee was fantastic! On the second day we had the delicious smoked salmon and perfectly scrambled eggs . All the staff we met were very polite and friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help . We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to visit again.

Clean throughout. Very comfortable bed. Big bath with over shower. Excellent breakfast with good fresh produce. Evening meals were superb with extremely ample portions. Make sure you are hungry to take full advantage of the food.

The lighting in the room 115 could be brighter and a bedside lamp on both sides of the bed would have been handy. Also a switch by the bed to turn off the main light would be good.

We were travelling with a young baby and were well accommodated with highchair and cot. We really enjoyed our meal in the Drawing Office and was very reasonably priced.

We ordered a taxi through the hotel to the train station. After waiting past the due time it was apparent that it had never been ordered. Our friends missed their train to Dublin because of this.

1) The owner, shouted at us for placing boxes of shoes we bought by the door to allow for proper disposal 2) the host shouted at us that we ordered from amazon using his address 3) didnt bother finishing our days there, moved on on day 3 of 5 to Travelodge in Lewisham, booking.com did not reimburse, we complained,not even sure why we chose that place to start with, the cost was similar to a 3 star hotel which is barely 3Miles away 4) if someone says you have access to a microwave and fridge you would think its in your room, no you will be sharing with horrific host who has a nasty temper, the fridge is old and battered and you will have 1 little column to put your stuff, you are supervised like a hawk when using microwave, basically this house is not welcoming, got shouted at like a kid, only good thing was closeness to Sydenham train station 5) i would not recommend to an adult traveller, if you were a child maybe you can deal with tempere of the gentleman who is of Jamaican descent Dont hire out your place if you dont like people there,
