The reception staff are so friendly. I was guided half way to T1 by a staff member the night we arrived so we didn’t get lost next morning for our early flt, (it’s 10 mins max walk). Our 4th floor room was newly refurbished with new carpets, really comfy beds, massive tv & quiet. Bar was very nice with very reasonably priced drinks, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We had 2 nights at the Birchwood in Skegness, We had a lovely time staying there, It was so quiet and peaceful which is what we needed. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, and very helpful. The caravan was spotless and everything you needed . The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was spotless. We will definitely be staying again .

The Google maps location showed somewhere else. As we were walking to the house - after a long day of walking- this was quite the detour for us. Use the location shown on booking.com, not Google maps. Heating instructions would be helpful, the house was a bit too warm for us but we didn't want to turn the heating off as it was connected to the hot water.

The main receptionist was lovely and helpful, the location is great if your looking to visit the pier and beach with lots of local pubs and restaurants.

When we first checked in we were given a room that was yet to be cleaned, the bin was full with someone else’s rubbish, beds slept in, dirty towels hung up and used mugs on the side. When we spoke to the man on reception we were moved rooms quickly which we appreciated, however we were moved from a triple room with a double and single bed to a twin double room with two single beds that was £9 cheaper online than the room we booked and meant we had to share a bed with our child. This room had complimentary tea and coffee which was nice but no kettle to make it, no tv remote so we could not turn the tv on, only one big towel and one hand towel, no bathroom light and the balcony had a takeaway on it from the previous occupants so unfortunately we don’t feel we had the best stay ever.
