Positive section of review
The caravan is immaculate, modern and very comfortable and clean. The site is also lovely and fairly accessible by public transport. The host was fabulous, kind and caring and does her best to ensure that she communicates necessary information, though the site management is not easily forthcoming when it comes to any rule changes for example booking use of the public pool. Altogether wonderful stay would highly recommend.

You do have to book each hour to use the resort pool, which is not in the best condition but functional. And it is not clear before you book that dogs are not allowed around the lakes (The prettiest area of the site, even on leads) You also always have walk around the entire site to be able to come back on yourself to access public transport and local beaches which adds to the whining from tired children.

We loved that the hotel was 2 minutes walk from Russell Square underground especially carrying cases. Also bus stopped directly outside. Room was lovely & clean, beds very comfortable (we had 3 single beds in ours) and new bathroom/shower facilities. Hotel met all our requirements for our stay including cleanliness, locality and cost. We will definitely stay here again.

Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel, if we had any complaints it would be the noise from the street & traffic through the night. Windows only single glazed by looks of it so noise maybe an issue for some.

They were very accommodating because they let us go into breakfast 10 minutes early because we had to catch a train. Had a really nice meal there, good prices and no surcharge. Great staff and very helpful.

the bed was a standard double and quite tight for me and my husband. We also found the tv didn’t work either as the signal was intermittent.

The rooms are nicely furnished but basic and so were the bathrooms - which can be expected in a such an old pub. Breakfast was pre-prepared in the room and was not great.
