This is a hostel in a beautiful old brick building. I rented a private room, not a dorm. There is a bar where you can order breakfast. There is also a shared kitchen and a lovely common room where you can relax and wait for your room or plug in your computer and work. I was able to rent a locker when I wanted to sightsee before I left for the airport. There are buses, taxis, and the underground nearby. There is a laundry with laundry soap and a dryer open 24/7. There are restaurants and a small market a short distance from the hostel. And the young people staffing the front desk are very helpful with booking, and suggestions for tourist activities.

I struggled with transportation issues. It is about half an hour from London. It is easy to just sit down and relax and not get anything done. I did make it to a play, despite a last-minute closure of one train on my route. I reiterate...all modes of travel are only a short distance from the property.

Manager / staff were warm & welcoming, rooms were very nice with beautiful views My mother stayed in the room with a church view & she commented that was the most perfect room to stay in & included everything she needed My wife & I stayed in the balcony room & again , quality room with fantastic views If you are staying on a Saturday night , keep in mind the live music ends at midnight - we knew this & expected it so no complaints

We were lucky with parking opposite the pub as we checked in around 6 pm so no parking fee , but potentially a long uphill walk from car park with luggage

Staff amazing, so helpful and friendly in particular the morning breakfast room staff. Location amazing for Tate modern, Shakespeare globe, Borough market, The Thames etc Looks of food options nearby including M&S Foodhall. Felt very safe as a solo traveller Great value and included a great buffet breakfast Very quiet at night

Building very dated and old fashioned. Corridors belonged in The Shinning! 😆 Very early checkout (10.30) Not near any tune stations but that wasn't a problem really

The location was very central to all of the village facilities. The pub has recently been refurbished and was very comfortable. There was a designated parking space for residents so no drama. The staff were excellent and looked after my dog at breakfast with a sausage 😋

Ideal accommodation for us to attend an event at Tottenham Stadium. Very close to tube, lovely coffee shop over the road. Clean. Easy instructions to get into property & felt very safe.

Only criticism is we both would have loved 2 pillows each instead of 1. Otherwise comfortable beds.

Too many dogs. £15 per day to park dog poo in the car park and no guaranteed space. Sheets not changed. Breakfast very poor quality food.
