      The security was okay but area was a bit dodgy. The bed was comfortable. Liked having an ensuite bathroom in the room. Room was clean and so was the bathroom. Location was good for the train station and lots of takeaways, Tesco and Boots nearby.

      Was difficult to access initially as had to go into the bar next door to register. The stairwell did smell a bit and carpet was dirty. Didn't get much sleep as the bar downstairs had dnb music playing VERY loud until early hours of the morning (bed was shaking with the bass). Also lots of loud mouth drunks around in the afternoon..... Police were around from 1 and ambulances were outside at 4 in the afternoon.

      Great location, lockbox access makes it very easy to access whenever is convenient. Fantastic views from the Cabin room. Very good restaurant attached. Friendly staff.

      Filthy windows - the view is great but the outside of the windows looked like they hadn’t been washed in months. It did spoil such a good view otherwise. The blinds are terrible and need changing. The pull chords come apart and half the time it was easier to take the blind off and roll up by hand. The tv was positioned behind a pillar so couldn’t be seen from the bed despite being on an adjustable wall bracket. Only one chair provided so you couldn’t watch tv together. The whole room layout needs rethinking or just get rid of the tv and don’t advertise the room with one. The price of the drinks provided in the room was unnecessarily expensive - beyond unreasonable. You can buy the same drinks for a fraction of the price from the convenience store which is 30 seconds away so we didn’t consume any but used the fridge. Pedantic, but a taller bed would make better use of the view given the window sill height and only one low atm chair. A telescope would be a good addition. The room is a good size but has no real clothes storage. Worst bit about the room is that the bed side lamps are linked to the ceiling spot lights so you can’t have them on without the ceiling lights. A stupid set up. We had to move a lamp so we could have a soft light in the evening. This needs changing as it contradicts the entire reason for having bedside lamps.

      I have been charged twice once from booking.com and the nice from the hotel and when I asked them about this they have seemed to reserve me again for another room.

      The room was a good size. The landlord was very helpful and kind.

      There were too many companies involved and my messages were not getting through. When I had problems although they gave a number to phone, I had to phone a few times and had to wait too long. In the end I had to try and find someone on the premises. I felt cold the second night. Some assistants would be very helpful, some were not trained or possibly, as they were foreign, they could not understand what the problem was. It got a bit too confusing and stressful. I am sorry I have to say that this "pass the keys" system is definitely not for me.

      I tried the TV at about 22.45, and it had an error message, something like "weak single, check aerial", In the morning I was told I could have called reception, but that misses the point, there should be adequate instructions in the room to make the TW work.

      Delay in breakfast due to one member of staff seemingly not knowing what they were doing. The smart TV had no working smart features. As soon as we opened the curtains we found wrappers on the floor, so a poor cleaning job.
