Enjoyed our stay here. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything you needed, even an iron and ironing board in the cupboard. Tea/coffee and biscuits and a little fridge with complimentary water. The location was perfect, near to the castle and right in the middle of the town. We went on the bus to Stratford-upon -Avon, the bus station was a five minute walk away. We will definitely recommend.

This was not a problem for us but would be disappointing to some - Only get a cooked breakfast at the weekend so we missed out, but there were Cereals/pastries/Toast/Fruit and Tea and coffee to help yourself to. Overall very good.

The apartment was newly renovated and furnished (2020?). It was stylish and comfortable. It was in easy reach of the Cathedral and the Castle and, if you were young and fit, not too far to walk down to the centre of the city and back up.

We were surprised to find the apartment (The Cathedral) was at the top of the house, at the top of a long flight of narrow stairs. This was not clear from the details, which did not distinguish sufficiently between the four apartments in the house. As one of us does not find stairs easy, had we known about this we would not have booked this particular apartment. Although clean and well furnished, the kitchen lacked some items which we would have found useful: a caftetiere or other type of coffee maker, a teapot, and egg cups. There was a dishwasher, but the cutlery (only 4 of everything) and crockery provided didn't really merit running it. Lots of glasses though, if you had people round for drinks. There was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom, we made do with the hand cream.

the location is great, the neighbourhood is very nice. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Close to the Emirates who is a fan :). It was reasonably clean, all the appliances are in place (the basic ones you need).

It was very noisy, windows in the living room are very old and noise is coming in, it is really unpleasant for the person sleeping on the couch in this room. The other thing is the couch - extremely uncomfortable for sleeping. All the other things from the description are as it is in reality. If you are just 2 people it will be ok, cause the bed in the bedroom is fine.

Good proximity to explore the Lake District. Well fitted out kitchen, spacious and comfortable sitting area. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom decent sizes.

Small thing but blind in main bedroom let in a lot of light. The place is at the top of the hill so though not a problem if you wanted to walk down into the town just to be aware that it’s all uphill to get back.

Attention to detail by house keeping lower that expected. Toilet did not flush, shower hose leaked, plug in bath just laying on edge of bath.

Problem with drains during our stay. Could not enter/ exit building due to pipes being taken through street entrance to basement. Lack of cutlery, crockery, pots & pans. Toilet, once flushed, continued to run throughout our stay.
