Fabulous location on the quayside with river view rooms and parking on 2 floors £10 overnight (not bad for city centre hotels here). Large, quiet room, very comfortable bed and coffee making facilities (oat milk sachets would be good) plus fridge. Nice bar and restaurant overlooking river. Great options at breakfast- fabulous cooked food (including vegan on request), even a pancake maker, plus lots of fresh fruit, cereals. Super friendly and helpful staff. Some nice restaurants very close by or a short walk to the city centre for lots of places to shop, eat and drink. Love this hotel!

Gym was very small. Toilet and bath also very small/ low down- most hotels of this standard have better bathroom fittings.

Pilgrims of the Goddess was a marvellous surprise! We ended up sleeping in the Meditation cabin built in the garden and this was magical. The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom meaning a 10m walk outside to reach it, a pleasant experience even on a raining morning :) Breakfast is basic cereals, do not expect English breakfast, it is far sufficient.

Location was perfect, right by the harbour and just a few minutes walk to the high street. Although breakfast isn't an option, there is a lovely friendly cafe almost next door which serves very good food.

I like the spaciousness and the location, although it’s very hard to have a delivery delivered as the drivers get very lost , overall it’s a nice place

I suffer from severe epilepsy PTSD and a psychiatric disorder ( service dog users do not need to notify service providers about the service dog legally as it puts us in a position to experience discrimination ) and I travel sometimes with a legally trained service dog who is fully equipped to save my life if I have a violent seizure or a PTSD attack The cleaning lady asked me some very inappropriate questions regarding my service animal who I actually carry ID and for paperwork for and she also attempted to enter my room 2 hours before check out which is inappropriate as she did not knock I had told the property that my previous room was not comfortable due to the windows, not being able to open which is a large trigger for my epilepsy, which it could’ve been life-threatening as I was alone , the host decided not to reply to me, as it was inconvenient for them So I ended up checking out early as it was unsafe for me to stay in a room with no air and rebooked for another night with different windows . I was also charged twice for my booking and still have not been refunded.
