Comfortable and large spacious living area. Quiet location, host responded quickly to requests when we were there. Breakfast, which is an extra cost, with good quality ingredients. Plenty of towels and a flannel each. The small kitchen area was better equiped that we were expecting.

The place was cold when we arrived and did not warm up properly until the heating had been on for quite a while in the evening. We lit the woodburner but it did not burn well and gave out almost no heat. No instructions for anything; eg we could not work the TV or the vents on the woodburner.

We loved staying at the Fieldside Barn. The location is amazing. We saw lots of rabbits, a few deers, and even a fox just outside of the barn. Our dogs were welcome as well. The bed was very good, the kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean. Would love to stay again!

The location was highly convenient, the breakfast delicious, the house a beautifully decorated example of an Edwardian residence containing fine family pictures and Ruth's conversation was very interesting.

In the morning of our departure day, there was no hot water throughout the hotel. I understand that this is a problem not easy to solve, but the staff was not attentive and friendly in addressing this issue. Additionally, we were promised a refund of £25 for this night, but it never came through. The hot water appeared half an hour before our checkout, but, of course, we couldn't fully enjoy these amenities, including not receiving our refund.

- I arrived a bit earlier than the check-in time and was not feeling well. They offered me that I can leave my luggage which is not a luggage room. Simple the coffee machine are, open. I didn`t feel comfortable with that. And also, for the first time in my life ever, I was charged for early check-in. I mean, will it not be kind to give me my room if it`s ready? Having it ready and asking me for money are no good. - I woke up one day in the morning. And the tap water wasn`t running. Very unacceptable. I informed the reception. When I am back to the room in the evening, it was sorted. Also same happened for hot water in the shower. No hot water was coming. I called the reception and they sorted out. But, I saw other comments about this. It looks like a general problem. This are the essential. They should be there, not after we ask for them. - Again, the walls were quiet dirty. Someone needs to be aware of the magic sponge to delete the stains...
