I absolutely loved this place, it is clean, comfy and feels homely. It's walking distance within everything in the town The sizing of the room was just right to make you feel safe and cozy, never slept so good in a hotel bed before.

Everytime you use the toilet it makes a weird high piitched humming sound, it doesn't last long so it doesn't ruin the experience

Friendly staff. An excellent freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. Everything that we needed.

A very old traditional pub, with just two rooms available. Ours was furnished and fitted out to a good standard. Just one or two unimportant things let it down - no bin liners, towels on the floor, electrical fitout. Access to the rooms was via an external wooden staircase at the rear of the building, and would not suit everyone.

I loved the room. It had everything I needed and was comfortable and quiet.

The only thing I didn't like, and it ia a minor thing, was that the bunk bed was a bit low and as I am over 6 feet when I got up in the middle of the night in the dark I was very nervous about banging my head and I did narrowly miss the edge of the frame a few times whilst half asleep.

The rooms are either really hot or really cold. The breakfast options are pretty poor. You have to wait for eggs other than scrambled. No hash browns or mushrooms and the veggie sausages take ages so for a vegetarian the options are limited

Two bedrooms are very unequal. One is a good size with a double bed while the second one is very small with a very small double bed. So if you are going as two couples, it is not easy to decide who has which room. Also the towels are quite small and rather old. No hand towels at all.
