  We have recently held our wedding at the Garrison Hotel 8th June 2024 after deciding to change venue from our original hotel booking. We are so Happy we choose the Garrison Hotel for our wedding. The staff are amazing and the weekend stay/wedding day was a magical experience in the gorgeous surroundings of the old barracks. Stevie and all the staff need a special mention as they are so friendly and helpful going above and beyond making ourselves and each and everyone of our guests was made to feel very welcome. All of our wedding requests, from the setup and storage of the wedding cakes were dealt with a smile which helped on our special day and for the whole weekend stay. The Breakfast is very nice too with a full selection of English & continental to choose from in a nice relaxing setting. Excellent hotel and we will be returning if we need to stay over in Sheffield.

  The room was spacious very clean & the bed very comfortable. Plenty of natural light. Food in the restaurant was very good & the staff were all very polite. Everyone made us feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Especially when dining in the restaurant be it breakfast or dinner Craig & Lewis always looked after us very well . We will definitely return in the future.

  Perfect room with a sea view, ideally located for everything we wanted to do. We will be coming back to stay!

  This magnificent hotel is obviously very old, but if you want value for money, right on the beach, opposite the pier and have a sea view, with the added bonus of a car park for guests as well as being close to everything, then this is for you. If you want to pick holes in the decor, the fact that the lift goes up and down a lot when you want to use it (yes, believe me, we heard someone complain about it!!), and a modern hotel, then go elsewhere!! We loved our stay and will be going back!
