Really lovely all round. Lovely friendly staff, nice room, perfect location and very dog friendly. The staff even gave twiggy my dog sausages for breakfast. Loved the map in the room too. And the very cold little fridge to put a few beers in.

Only two things. Security. I noticed that other guests didn’t put the lock on the outside door on so essentially the only security was my bedroom door. The code on the gate wasn’t working either so that was open too. On the Thursday night the sound of what I think was the kitchen vent was a bit intrusive but that finished by about 9. And I think the smell of kitchen intruded a bit too as my room was over the kitchen. These are trivial but security could have been a bit tighter and but more reassuring.

Friendly, helpful staff. Super beer garden with views. Good value meals in the evening and at breakfast, and large portion sizes. Secure key access to both upper floor and bedroom. Soft white towels.

One room had no light bulb in one overhead light, no tv remote and no complimentary shampoo, shower gel. Some noise from road at front of pub. If car spaces at pub taken one has to park across the road on a safe 'pull in'. These aren't major issues and the value for money counteracts these little niggles.

Beautiful cottage, everything as it was advertised. Clean rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Loved the games cupboard too. Would definitely recommend to others.

Nothing. Although to save us buying cloths and cleaning wipes. I'd advise to have such things available. Plus an outside bin, so waste bin bags aren't to be left outside. (there were two bin bags in the yard when we arrived) These are just recommendations though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

The hotel does need more parking space but the hotel relations staff found us a space. The lift is a bit slow but with 16 floors it was expected!
