The most beautiful and comfortable apartment we have ever stayed in. Everything we needed was there for us. They even left us a bottle of wine and a basket of tayto crisps which was so lovely. Tea ,coffee, milk and toileties were provided. Towels ,hair dryer, iron and iron board. 2 beautiful bedrooms , 2 bathrooms with one of these en suite. Huge comfortable couch which is also a sofa bed, huge smart TV. Balcony in living area and also balcony in main bedroom. Full kitchen and cooking facilities. Large dining area. A lovely 5 min walk over the bridge and we were in the city centre. Couldn't believe our luck that we found such and amazing place in such a central location that was great value. The staff were fabulous to deal with and so friendly and helpful too ! It was like a home away from home for us and we really wouldn't stay anyway else but here in future. Glad we found this place. Thank you for such a great stay and we highly recommended you !

The host helped me when i booked at very last notice. this was due to incompetance by booking dot com double booking my room in another hotel. i luckily found Barbican House and the owners cut short their private time to check me into the room. the owner could not have been more helpful with directions. the room was super clean. i could not stay for breakfast but i am certain, it would have been very nice, such was the standard in Barbican House.

The host is very welcoming and helpful. The lounge is beautifully appointed and comfortable. The bed has a reasonably firm mattress, which suited me. The bedding was fresh and cosy. Everything is provided, including dressing gowns. The bathroom is just across the hall, with an oval corner bath, with shower over. The proximity of the property to the railway station is excellent. It is also convenient to the M32 / M4 junction.

I’d have preferred it if blackout lining had been used in the Roman blind, which let too much light through for my liking, but that’s a minor quibble. I only marked down the cleanliness a point as the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied, but otherwise everything was spotless.

I was attending a training in the hotel so it was very convenient. Breakfast was good. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was free luggage storage. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of coffee and biscuits in room. The conference facilities were good including the coffee provisions. The evening meal was reasonably priced

The room was very small. The furniture was worn and tired . The window was overlooked as it faced other rooms but there was no net at the window so the only way to have privacy was to close the blackout curtains. The upper floor corridors and room were excessively warm. I needed to keep the window open overnight which wasn’t a problem as on the 5th floor. The shower was adequate. There are no sockets by the bed for puffing in a mobile phone for alarm purposes. The conference lunch was either a curry or rather uninspiring fish and dessert was a doughnut. The bar in the evening was manned by one person who was absent for long periods likely because he was trying to do multiple jobs. I asked for a Prosecco which was available in a small bottle and the barman asked me if I wanted a glass! When I opened the bottle (myself as the barman didn’t do it for me ) it exploded its contents all over the table, my kindle and the floor. The barman provided a cloth on request and allowed me to wipe everything myself because he was a serving other customers.

The family room was very spacious and well presented. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very nice and offered to carry our heavy luggage upstairs. Plenty of street parking if you're early. A short drive to the shopping centre. Eateries across the street.

The shower cubicle was quite small.

Very convenient if you are travelling via Luton airport. Short walking distance from the terminal (approx. 8 min) Flight announcement board at the lobby. Polite and helpfull staff. Room was really quiet even though so close to the airport.
