Great location for our cycling trip. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast,cooked to order, vegan options available too. Really comfortable beds. Secure storage for our bicycles. Allowed us to leave our vehicle in the car park whist on our cycling trip (Rebellion way)

We thought it was odd that we had to request essentials. There were no chairs in our room, had to ask for them, no hand towels, had to ask, only 1 flat pillow each; told that we had to ask for 2 pillows! We arrived at breakfast 9.20 and were told breakfast would be removed at 9.30; we rushed straight to hot items before they were swept away so no chance of cereal etc first. Staff were generally grumpy ( apart from lovely Receptionists)

The water from the shower ran out as no barrier in the shower. The sink drainage system was slow and took forever for the water to drain. The selection of food for breakfast was very limited

I wasn't aware I had booked a room without a window. So I felt a bit claustrophobic. Also the room had a small table, but no chair and if you're travelling for work, you want to be able to sit a table with a chair and work on your laptop. I called into reception and they brought a chair to the room straight away.
