  Was a great base to head off and do activities during the day. Staff were friendly and more than happy to help you. Was lovely and peaceful, sitting on the decking listening to the sheep and ducks was just lovely.

  Night porter was not much help upon checking in out of hours - day staff much more helpful Hotel is dated, but clean and sufficient for an overnight stay. Car park is tiny, and limited on road parking outside the front of the hotel, we got lucky but if the road is full you will need to pay to park somewhere and walk
