The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

first room given was poor, mattress was terrible, you could feel all the springs. but we were upgraded to a premier room which was much better, good bed, more room. a few faults but not really a problem.

no bath in this room. balcony although accessible did not really look safe to go out on , very rusty. very, very creaky floors. radiators were on but you could not adjust because the caps were either missing or rounded off, luckily the door opened and a very nice sea breeze could come in.

Room was small but comfy bed and unsuited. Nothing flash, but good location.

The room could do with a safe as I wasn't happy leaving passports/ money in the room.

The air con was broken and kept switching off after a few seconds before reading ERROR, this was on the hottest day of the year. You cant open the giant windows so it was literally like sleeping in a green house. We asked for a room change because we were so hot during the night the sheets needed changing and the bed re-doing but this never happened. The mattress protector kept sliding off the bed and it was extremely uncomfortable. You only get given one thin pillow each so i had neck ache in the mornings too. We went to seek help from reception in the Moring but couldn't find anyone. This happened both days. We did ask for help on the online help portal but nobody got back to us until the following day. All in all, i don't think we will be staying at an Ibis budget again. This is a shame because all the other ones we have stayed in were actually very good.

DOOR CLOSERS The doors are not conducive to people lugging 2 suitcases. Appreciate you need to have door closers for fire regs but they could delay closing by a few seconds rather than a constant battle against the mechanism. INTERNAL SIGNAGE There is no indication in the lift lobby as to which floor you have arrived, you only discover your error once you have battled your way into the corridor. There is only 'Emergency escape' signage in the corridors - no indication of which way to turn for the lift upon exiting the rooms. Remember some people stay in several hotels a month and every bedroom access is different.

It’s probable not for international travellers with big suitcases: it’s a lovely old building with a very steep winding staircase.
