The hotel structure looks as though it has been lifted from an alpine reort - very dramatic. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. The bar menu offered sandwiches that turned out to be a huge meal consisting of six sandwich quarters, french fries and coleslaw. Very good too. The room was small but with a big, comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom that had plenty of space to store washbags etc. The walk in showere was excellent with a 'rainforest' showerhead and a hand held one. Towels were thick and absorbent. Toiletries available if you needed them. The tv was typically large and with a good number of channels. The room overall was spotlessly clean. The bar space was large with an atrium style high ceiling. Outside were lots of tables and chairs on the south side, in the sun. The car park around two sides of the hotel was very big. Breakfast was also enjoyable with a good range of hot and cold offerings and good value at £15. The waiting staff were very attentive.

The water seems to be very hard and the English Breakfast tea bags in the room were a bit weird tasting and with a hard water scum in the mug. The tea served at the bar was perfectly ok, so maybe it was the pots of milk in the room? I hope it wasn't anything to do with how the mugs had been washed! Shame as we needed them first thing in the morning and we had to throw them away and wait for breakfast for a decent first drink of the day.

Good for a short stay. A TV in every room . Pub across the road with good food, and excellent Indian restaurant 1.5 miles away. Easy access to the Broads and Norwich. Plenty of off street parking .

Very creaky floorboards, especially in the kitchen, which became a bit annoying after a while. A good first impression inside but actually getting a little shabby in places, although all very clean. Wash basin in bedroom 1 slow to drain, needs some drain buster. Dishwasher needed more rinse aid and salt but there wasn't any. A cupboard or even a shelf for food packets/tins/bottles would be useful in the kitchen. All minor things which wouldn't stop me staying again.

Booked a stay at Snugs for my boyfriend's birthday and it was perfect! Impeccably clean, wonderfully quiet, and the sunset views were stunning. Ideal for a romantic getaway. Highly recommended!

We pre-ordered our hot breakfast at a specific time slot! However this did not allow for relaxed consumption of cereals etc.
