Cosy room, spacious. Lovely warm shower, and bath available if needed. Plenty of bed linen, towels, pillows. Stacey also was flexible with our check in time as we wanted to arrive later in the day- gave us a warm welcome and a nothing would be too much trouble attitude. Her garden is amazing and gives a beautiful view from the room windows. Great choice of channels and streaming services like itvx, iplayer etc to watch, enjoyed getting ready leisurely with it on. Tea making facilities, an easy to set up sofa bed alongside a comfortable double bed. All in all a great stay, can’t say enough really, I would recommend 😊

From arrival to departure everything was spot on. The surroundings, building, staff, room & food. Can’t fault any of it.

Nothing everything was good.

The bed was comfortable, however I feel unhygienic as no mattress protectors or pillow protectors over cases and sheets .

The bathroom had a broken toilet seat was dirty in cracks and bottom of seat dirty I went and brought some antibacterial wipes to actually clean this , possibly was cleaned but was stained however not acceptable for a 4* hotel . But dirt definitely present in cracks , no plug to have a bath we complained multiple times didn’t get a plug , also tapes and round bath not been cleaned properly or tiles , mould showing , the net curtain in bathroom was absolutely full of dust the pole . The shower curtain was mouldy too . Also shower pressure was absolutely rubbish, hardly any water when showering and leaking shower . Also on Mercure Facebook and Snapchat other social media’s shown that there was a pool and jacuzzi, yet we got to hotel and was informed not in use since covid which I think is absolutely ridiculous considering all restrictions have ended . The fact we’ve emailed to manager sent photos not been offered a bit of a refund is unacceptable.
