We had expected to be staying in an apartment next to my brother’s family, unfortunately when they arrived after us late in the afternoon they were told that their unit wasn’t available due to a “Water Leak” all this while they were waiting at the apartment block with their kids and bags and no where else to stay. There was no water leak and it was very apparent that the unit was double booked. We were very disappointed by booking.com and the host for allowing this double booking. We also met other people that same night who were out in the same situation Very upset that our families couldn’t stay close by

Excellent value for money for the humans, but we have a pooch and travel extensively with her. We appreciate the extra charge levied because of the extra cleaning but feel that £25 is a bit excessive where the norm is £10-£15.

Room was dusty and dirty. Very outdated. There was a huge hole behind the bathroom door which was open and had toilet paper stuffed in it. The bathroom was very poorly lit. The room had a musty smell to it. We had pre-booked dinner that evening as we were off to a show and didnt have time to travel to another restaurant. Once check in was complete we went to our room, dropped our bags and headed for dinner to be told that the restaurant was closed that day. The hotel failed to tell me this in the email I received earlier that day which included the restaurant opening times. I could’ve made prior arrangements before checking in to eat however my daughter and myself then had to get ready for the show we were there to watch without any food. The staff kept apologising and I wasn’t pleased as this meant after travelling 3hrs from our home we have to go to the show hungry. We got a complimentary drink and an apology but quite frankly that doesn’t make up for the fact we had no dinner. They tried to recommend places but there wouldn’t have been time hence reserving a table at the hotel. This just made me angry and also seeing the state of the room we decided to get our things and head home. There was no one at reception when we went to hand in the keycard so I just put it on the front desk and we left.
