The hotel is very handy for the station, so zero hassle on arrival by train. The down-side is that the station is not in the centre of the city. In addition to the hotels own basic restaurant, there are plenty of eateries adjacent. The breakfast is a comprehensive buffet including cooked food. Overall, it's a typical Ibis experience, no frills but fully functional and efficient, with a more comprehensive breakfast than some.

The hotel is a 15 min walk from the city centre. I would have preferred a softer pillow. Two people in a double room, with lots of luggage for a European tour, would have to be tidy. The rooms are not huge. Accommodation in Cambridge is expensive.

Everything about my stay was exceptional, including a well maintained beautiful garden to sit and relax in. The breakfast was freshly cooked to your wishes and well presented. Nothing was too much to ask from places to visit and how to get there. A "Gem" of a place, run by a lovely couple.

The noise from other guests went on into the early hours of the morning..There was no kitchen available and hence we couldn't get water for the kettle for a morning coffee only from the bathroom. However we can't complain cause it is a very cheap stopover for Belfast and highly recommend for location.

Plenty of space.
Negative section of review
No grill pan, no baking tray and none of the carving knives had a blade sharp enough to cut meat. No instructions on how to use the hob, the TV and sound bar or the electric blinds.
