We had an amazing stay in the charming and unique Carriage. Conveniently located near major Scottish landmarks, the Carriage itself has everything a solo traveler ou a couple need, the view is beautiful and the sound of birds in the morning is priceless. Cindy was very flexible with our late check-in and super helpful with tips to explore the area. I wish our stay had been longer!!

A short walk from Greenock Central station. Remote host sent me code for mini-safe to access the keys for the accommodation block and the apartment. Well-furnished apartment, fully-equipped kitchen and rooms with bed linen and towels. Convenience of self-catering for breakfast, ate out for other meals. Comfortable bed and sofa bed (slept on top of that)

Apartment is on 3rd floor, so there's a concrete staircase to negotiate. No problem for me but might be an issue if you have limited mobility. No hot water during my stay, for which the host apologised and gave me a significant refund. I don't understand fold-out sofa beds, so I slept on top of it. Had a good night's sleep using the pillows and duvet in the apartment.

Thomas was a welcoming, humorous and entertaining host with great stories to tell. The accommodation was very well appointed and spacious. Excellent breakfast choice especially the 'Ulster Fry'. It is understood Finnegan stayed here during his 'wake' !

Lovey house, great value for money. 6 lads on a trip to bike park wales. House was comfortable, perfect size and location, and great having the secure garage for the bikes.

Parking was good but tight, but we were in a LWB van.

The hotel is quite a distance to T2 if you want to walk. However they run a shuttle bus which was £3,50

The food was good in the evening and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was cramped but clean and the place was recently decorated. It was clearly a "football" pub with big screens all round and a bit noisy.

Rooms were neat & clean. Location was great. We didn't use the bar.

Less options for vegetarian.

Good location, nice clean rooms and friendly staff.

Bar was getting re-done and drinks were left in the sun because of this. Restaurant prices were on the higher side.

Literally everything. Our booking was wrong. Booked and paid for a family room with mezzanine split beds in back in January 2024 for 4 adults and one child. Confirmed repeatedly that this was the room we wanted and were told on several occasions that yes, they had our booking and everything was set. When we arrived, which was earlier than check in, as we were allowed to leave our luggage I mentioned the room again and was told yes, you have the junior suite. When we returned some hours later to fully check in, I was told that we had one room with 2 beds. There were five of us. One gentleman in particular was unbelievably rude. Keep interrupting me and cutting me off each time I tried to explain and showed him the reservation along with the chain of messages confirming the room with the mezzanine. He wouldn’t listen and told me to wait whilst he went and checked in another several people whilst behaving as though my group and i weren’t even there. He even admitted giving out booked room to a group that came AFTER us and said they checked in first, although we were stood right there clearly before this other group and then he lied right to our faces by saying “well they checked in first” when they clearly hadn’t. We had no choice but to take the room and they advised they would supply a camp bed for myself the sleep on. As we were leaving for our evening meal, we still hadn’t received the camp bed to sleep on and asked if this could be brought up and left OUTSIDE the room. This was ignored and when we returned they had entered our room without permission and to our horror they left just a single mattress to sleep on. NOT a camp bed. Not only that, there were no quilt covers or even any pillows left and the mattress was covered and stained in multiple urine/piss stains. Between 10pm and 3am I asked for pillows at least 9 times and in the end I had to go to reception myself at 3am to get some. But this situation was just the icing on the cake.
