the mansion is situated in a beautiful place. it stands like a fine lady. the grounds are well designed and maintained. the staff are friendly at reception and the dinning staff are exceptional. driving up to the mansion gives u a sense of opulence and that it has. all meals are delicious.

we had a twin room and the beds were very small in size. both myself and my son were awake most of the night fearing we were going to fall out of the bed onto the floor which was a decent drop. my son ended up sleeping on the lounge and I put the two beds together. not very impressed when sleeping is important 😴.

Beautiful cottage, very spacious and very clean. Plenty of space for the kids to play outside. The perfect home away from home for us to visit our relatives. Kirsty was there to greet us when we arrived and show us around, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again, thankyou!

Great stay. Staff were exceptional. Spotless, excellent location and an excellent trained team. Had a minor issue with a blocked shower drain, Highlighted it to reception and was sorted immediately while we were out and room cleaned again. Couldn't fault.

Breakfast was the only small downfall with a continental. Would have preferred a cooked option. However the Continental choice was very good..

The house was clean and cosy, and had a very good sleep. The host was lovely to chat with and made a very nice breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade goods and great scrambled eggs that she kindly offered! I would stay here again if in the area ❤️

Good location, however you are right next to the station so the trains are noisy at night and in the morning from around 5am
