The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The amazing view, lucky enough to be allocated a room with a castle view. Breakfast was fantastic. Later checkout by 11am great. My daughter suffers from anxiety and it takes her long time to get ready and leave. Staff at reception was good, but be exceptional, even more friendlier, chatty, interested in guests needs, making recommendations etc, at a hotel with such a well known brand name and high cost for rooms. I took my teenage daughter out for a night in Edinburgh, during school hols, but still 150£ for 1night for a parent and child is a lot of money. Thank you. Joanna.

The location is fantastic for events at the Hydro. The Kelvingrove area is great for a weekend. Ample free weekend parking around the hotel. There are several excellent restaurants serving good food/fine dining and plenty high end bars/cocktail bars within a 10 minute walk.

Coffee machine in the room as I had an early start the next day, also loved the view of George’s hall! Friendly staff and perfect location from the station (literally next door)

Fairly near town centre; spacious lounge, clean, nice welcome pack. Useful to have a parking space in a town where parking can be very difficult.

It is a modern apartment in a modern apartment block so there were heavy fire doors to negotiate to reach the front door and these slammed shut very noisily. Also, the garden area is adjacent to the main road so didn't feel like an area you'd want to be in. The apartment lacks character, but would suit those who like box-like white spaces with little clutter.

Place was clean tidy. The apartment was in a great location. first bedroom was well presented.

Electronic key process. Lack of access to the second bedroom as the key lock declined every time they used it, only to open next morning. Guest had to sleep on a fold out bed and use sheets from the first bedroom. (see image)

Plenty of parking (didn't seem to be anyone else staying there).

Informed of no hot water nor functioning shower upon arrival. Not such an issue, we thought, as we had already got ready to attend an evening wedding reception beforehand and just needed to drop bags off to return later. We were assured the issues would be addressed in the morning, plus it was far too late to consider alternative accommodation. When returning back to the hotel later that evening, I discovered the toilet in the room wouldn't flush - that is the last thing anyone wants after a belly full of beer and food! When reporting this to the front desk on the way to breakfast (disappointingly continental), the lady at reception didn't seem bothered and wouldn't entertain any discussion on the matter. I couldn't see any engineer activity and there wasn't any other hotel staff to ask either. The hotel was eerily quiet and somewhat afflicted by a nasty smell from the nearby sewage farm, all of which added to the negative experience of the hotel. In the end I was relieved to leave and be able to claim some money back from the hotel stay.
