  Bed was very comfortable. Room a good size. Iron and ironing board supplied as was hairdryer. Shower cubicle was spacious, and shower flow was good. Slip mat provided. Tea and coffee facilities. Toiletries supplied, with separate shampoo and body wash. The breakfast was average. The grounds were awesome, and the view from the restaurant was over the lake, and superb.

  The room was not serviced every day, so the bins were not emptied or the bed made. The tea/coffee supplies were not topped up, so it felt a bit like Air BnB or self-catering, having to go and ask for supplies. The socket for the hairdryer was on the opposite wall to the mirror. No desk lamp so the room was quite dark. The food in the restaurant was average, and mostly overcooked. Breakfast was average with same cooked food available every day. There were no drawers for clothes, so other than hanging them up, the rest had to be kept in the suitcase.

  Breakfast fine but long queue for single slow coffee machine when moderately busy. Breakfast staff very good. Location. Car park.

  Noisy spring mattress. Bath/ shower set up allowed copious water onto floor. Tired peeling bath panels. Slightly offhand bar staff. Room 403 right next to boundary road , noisy passing vehicles and privacy compromised. Charged twice for room as was prepaid and also added to checkout bill. Didn’t query when checking out as assumed booking.com hadn’t charged. Should have, but receptionist should not have charged it.

  Having to pay £15 each night for parking when the property has room for parking which, I thought room the advert on booking.com, was included in the stay. I don’t understand why there’s an extra cost for parking when the property has a car park?

  Didn't agree with paying for the facilities eg pool etc, never heard of anything so ridiculous, I booked it knowing there was a pool, I would have cancelled it, if I had known we had to pay I wouldn't have gone, thought it was disgusting. The view from the room was roof tops, very depressing I had asked for a nice room for our anniversary, so was Dissappointed. Room very tired.

  Was really looking forward to some prunes and fruit with my yogurt but only had hard pears hard plums and some dried up melon. I was looking for some sugar for my coffee, I asked a member of staff as she came towards me and she just pointed and carried on walking,very rude !!

  No fridge, no fan, not vacuumed daily, beds not made properly. Mould in shower, cracking paint work. Door handle to bathroom not opening correctly so got stuck in there a couple of times. No racks for suitcases and only 4 coat hangers. Tv way too small for room.
