Loved The Social Hub, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the staff were very friendly. Everything looked modern and clean, and the Pool/Table Tennis tables were a nice touch. The room was excellent, modern, comfy, clean & air conditioned which was really really appreciated during a hot weekend! Rooms were also soundproofed, i barely heard a thing while there (and i arrived while Celtic fans were celebrating in the street!) I didn't hear a thing from adjacent rooms, it was perfect. I really couldn't have enjoyed my stay more.

I know there's a lot of floors, but personally i like the option to use the staircase to get to your room or down to reception, it only seemed to be for emergency use only that I could see. But that's a small thing

Friendly staff, great selection at breakfast, clean rooms and a comfy bed. It has its own car park which is a bonus but, its very tight. I was nervous but managed it, just keep wing mirrors in and approach entrance as they tell you. Great base for exploring the area. Room 23 is away from the main building but perfectly safe and very quiet. You just hear the gates being opened and closed, morning and night. Caters well for gluten free visitors.

Shower facility was not great, really low pressure and kept going hot to cold.

The hotel is being refurbished so the rooms are now more modern.

My room key didn’t work at 10:50am so I couldn’t get in. The lift is always very busy at these time so hard to wait ages for the lift. There’s only 1 person at reception? At near checkout time is crazy. There was at least 10 people in line waiting to check out. The reception staff won’t let me cut in line to reset my key that would take 2 seconds. Just a bit poor service

Slight issue with parking if you come back late on a saturday night but staff found me a space. This is only to be expected for the location
