Location was in the heart of old town canterbury, but just 1-miute down a side road, so the building/street was very quiet. On arrival, the manager was super friendly, helped us with everything we needed and was very informative about the lodge, and surrounding area. We had a small issue with water tempature in our shower, and he was extremely helpful in giving us a solution immidiately, as well as acting swiftly to fix the problem. The room was exactly what we expected. Very comfy and with all amenities that were needed. Continential breakfast was offered, and it was more than we expected!

The property was very clean, as well as a perfect spot for anyone visiting Canterbury. The property allowed easy access to pubs and restaurants all around Canterbury, with the Canterbury Cathedral being a minute walk down the road. The beds were extremely comfy, and everything to cook and clean was provided. The hosts were further very helpful and provided all the details necessary to ensure a relaxing stay👍🏻

A smart, tidy and extremely clean place with friendly staff. We stayed in The Knook room which is perfectly adequate, but worth noting that it is definitely on the cosy side of cosy. Lovely being able to have breakfast while enjoying the view across the river and down to the castle.

The hotel and room was quite new and clean. Very good location if you want to visit Manchester united football club, the bar is decent, and breakfast buffet is very good. Nice coffee shop on side of hotel that is accessible from the hotel lobby.

Although the breakfast is very good the restaurant which is in the same facinity is terrible, I found the food overpriced and well below a standard I would expect from this hotel. We found plastic in my wife's dinner, myself and my daughter just wanted a simple burger meal but they were not at all of any quality for 18-19 pound sterling. Cheap nasty aldi frozen Isle quality burger, that was not of much character in its construction that I would normally expect from a hotel restaurant. I'm sorry to have to mention this but the cost of the dished do not reflect in the quality of food unfortunately. Staff friendly, and nice clean hotel. We choose a room for 3, the third bed which was a pull out futon style sofa made the room ridiculously small, we did not mind so much as we were out and about most of the time. I may stay again for convenience in getting to old trafford football club but I will not be purchasing any food.

everything was amazing, but the small kitchen and food and drink provision was outstanding. access to beautiful garden included, alas, the weather was not amenable on this occasion.

Perfect location for walking, eating and frolicking around the Brecon Beacons. Friendly hosts and nice room with a comfy bed. We didn't use it but the hot tub looked banging!

Parking was confusing as one car park allows no overnight stays whilst the other does. So needs care to make sure u park in the correct one before psyment Confusion was cleared up on speaking with staff member.
