Positive section of review
Bedwellty Lodge was exactly what we needed for this weekend away. It was clean, comfy and very cool. Steve, was super helpful in giving us some tips of where to eat, grab a beer, and gave a runaround of the local shops in Tredgar. He was also very responsive. We traveled all the way from London and would absolutely travel the distance and stay here again so we can explore more of the area!

The staff were friendly (every person we interacted with). The bar was spacious and good value for money. Our room was comfortable and clean. We especially appreciated having large windows that actually opened so we could enjoy fresh air. We were impressed by how quiet it was, even on a weekend in Pride Month.

We were unable to get phone reception or use our mobile data in our room (Vodafone and o2) meaning we had to go to the lobby to make phone calls.

Sara met us at the door as we pulled up. She showed us our space and explained how a few things worked. Was able to lend us an iron before a wedding. Made us coffee and lovely eggs on toast in the morning. We got to meet the bouncy lab.

Good sized rooms with comfortable beds, shower wasn't so good as it kept running hot and cold which is a pity as they are good rooms wth kettle , tee+ coffee. Breakfast was lovely + included in price.

Sink was outside the bathroom which meant having to wash in the bedroom, th8s wasn't too much of a problem for us .

5 minutes from kings x. Building work nearby but not heard. Room was clean and good temperature. 3 keys used to get in, was secure. Shower good temperature control. Good amount of plug sockets.

SMALL tv for size of room. Larger towels needed, like wearing a handkerchief. Bed little squeaky. Choice of pillows?
