I travel with my dog and always appreciate a location that not only caters for us but also appreciates us. We were given a key to a room but swapped last minute. This was an upgrade to the garden room, myself and my boy Magnus were so grateful. We made the most of the garden and the varanda. The bed I found comfortable, the bathroom was huge with a powerful shower and the room had a mini fridge I found useful. Staff were super friendly, they came round to knock to see if I needed anymore tea or coffee. I added an extra night, no bother at all. Some may say the decor is outdated, I say it's a piece of tourism history. I was more than happy, it's a beautiful building. The price was budget, the room size was not. Plenty of free parking too. I did get the last space on one of my nights stay, so maybe slightly challenging at busier times. Without a doubt we will be back. Keep your expectations real and you should find your content enough. We certainly were.

Room and bed were comfortable,if a little small,but adequate for our one night stay,and on a quiet location. Bobby ,the host ,was very friendly and welcoming.. Good location close to bars ,shops,cafes etc.5.minute walk to Kensal Rise overground station.

It took a while to access the property,the owner lives upstairs,but the 'Ring' doorbell did not work. Eventually after phones calls we managed to connect and be admitted. We felt uncomfortable getting ourselves hot drinks as the kettle etc was in his kitchen, next to the room.,as there was no beverage tray in the room.

I highly recommend this place to stay. The process was super organized in terms of check in, check out. The place looked like the pictures and had all the items promised which made our stay very comfortable. Hosts were nice and allowed a late check out.

Very conveniently located around the corner of Waterloo station, very nice neighbourhood with lots of cafes, pubs, restaurants on the street. Surprisingly quiet. Didn't expect this during booking. Pleasantly surprised!

The beds were very hard- we had twin although we requested double our single friend had a double! The breakfast was passable but not great everything in warming trays- only scrambled eggs which were gray
