Lovely gardens in the hotel to sit and relax. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Freshly made individual breakfast and really good croissants. We ate 2 out of 3 nights in the hotel and the food was very good. Sandy beach just a short stroll away down the hill. Porthscatho could be reached in a 10-15 minute walk along the coastal path (has an excellent ice cream shop which is worth the walk alone). Proximity to the coastal path means you can walk for miles if you want.

My girls and I loved our stay at Elim Bank Guest House. Our hosts Adam and Symmoane were absolutely amazing, friendly and super hospitable. The accommodation was a short walk to town, quiet, and an exceptionally comfortable place to stay. A home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the yogurt with berry compote (we will miss having this for breakfast every morning).

Very nice room for one person: small but very atmospheric, with good bathroom. People ever so friendly, I felt home instantly. Usefull kitchen with fridge. I was offered a free night after a nightly incident I was not involved in. So kind! Lovely Dartmoor scenery in the neighbourhood.

Beautiful area and b&b. Lovely owner, very accommodating and helpful when we got a little stuck on our drive, haha! :)) The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous too! And we were even allowed to lie in a little later than usual. X

You get what you pay for, the photos match up to reality. I love how precise the marketing is as it doesn’t fall behind expectation. Lavish room, friendly staff, great facilities. Enjoyed the pool as it gives great view of the city.

Reception staff could be a bit more organised. I found myself waiting a little too long at check in and check out was the same thing. Polite? yes but need to improve on timekeeping and loading the system beforehand so they’re prepared for guests when they arrive.

The breakfast choice was restricted. If you chose a cooked meal such as the scrambled egg you couldn't choose a cereal as that was only available on the continental option!

Location in the Cheviots always tick's the boxes. The staff were friendly and were like a little family including the spaniel dog.
