Liked the hot tub however it had a quarter inch yellow scum line round the water line which we had to clean off making us doubt if it had been drained & cleaned prior to our use. The fridge in the pod was dirty and definitely not cleaned and had a vile smell hence we did not use & luckily brought a cool box with us.

Dirty hot tub & yellow scum line. Broken glass next to the hot tub & no brush for us to sweep it up. Vile smell from the fridge & visibly dirty. Slugs climbing up the shower wall. Vile smell in the pod. Not nice yellow muck at bottom of shower room door in pod. Leaves & dirt on the patio area outside the pod, very disappointing along with the broken glass & obvious lack of cleaning. Having booked & read poor reviews I thought (wrongly) that surely anyone running this business would rectify these easily resolved issues by now, as there are so many bad reviews but no, clearly they have extremely low standards with regards to basic cleanliness and health and safety or they are employing cleaners who are unable to complete these tasks & owners who really don’t care? Very disappointing because these could be lovely pods if they were cleaned properly & general attention to details like broken glass left for the next guests?? Who does that?? It’s beyond me

The location is down a long but very pretty lane. The property is very good but the rooms are very small with little space for luggage. The breakfast was really good but there is very little catering for those with food allergies.

This is a small B & B with a lovely host who worked hard to make us welcome. The rooms are small, and the bathrooms are tiny, but we managed. The stairs are quite tight and steep, but the breakfast was excellent.

When I use single bed, pillow smelling funny. Also shower room door is too close shower area, a bit hard to put on mat. I thought there has bath, a bit disappointing point.

Our room was too near the late licensed beer garden & was stuffy & smelled a bit damp the air con also smelled odd the place is like a rabbit warren & the signs could be better but staff were excellent

At first we were suggested a room in the basement with window which wasn’t closing and it. It was very humid and absolutely not comfortable. After we complained- they changed the room, but the situation wasn’t pleasant. The new room wasn’t also clean, cups were dirty and room had a strange smell
