Time spent at this hotel certainly met our expectations. From friendly managment/staff, to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Cleanliness was second to none. Unfortunately we did not have time to stay for breakfast on this occasion but we are certainly looking forward to, on out next visit in the near future.... well done all involved

The property is as good as the pictures or even more! I never get this experience here in this country. They have everything you need. especially the owner very nice and always answers the message back so quickly. If Southend be your destination should be here. I will come back here again without hesitation

During our 3 week stay in UK we stayed in quite a few B&Bs. This one stands out as it was nicer (I mean more cosy and tasteful decoration) than most. The owner tried this little bit harder than average. The breakfast was this little bit better due to a delicious freshly made fruit salad.

Staff from breakfast to dinner were great, room was good not great, but we booked because the inn feel was what we wanted.Location was also great so easy walk to everything, and great trails in the area.

My seem picky but we hoped for the English pub feel, and while pub was great it was more a restaurant than what we had hoped for(pub vibe). Still great spot.

The property was very clean, and in a picturesque location, surrounded by fields, hills and a river. The property had ample space with 2 bathrooms, and had all the important amenities.

There was nothing not to like, the only downside is lack of mobile service, but the host offers good wifi.
