Excellent stay here from start to finish the owners of the property were fantastic communication second to none, needed earlier check in they were very accommodating and had the property ready early for us. Location absolutely perfect less than 10 minutes to town centre £10 in a taxi for 6 people. Facilities brilliant fully equipped kitchen, towels, toilet roll, iron, ironing board all provided. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Remember this is a bunkhouse - bedrooms are basic, facilities separate. That said - its an absolute gem along the West Highland Way. Food was brilliant, staff are exceptional - & the car pick up from the bottom of the hill was an unexpected God send.

Location was perfect for us as we were walking the coastal path. After a very long day of negotiating the land slips, it was a welcome sight at the of a lovely path on route.

Remote control for the TV didn't work and the curtain rail wasn't totally fixed in and the curtains fell down. We managed to fix it but had to be very gentle.

We liked the bed and sofa bed and availability of a radio. The tea range and biscuits were good. Storage facilities were also good

The staff was short with their answers, as if they were in a hurry and we were slowing them down

Some more toiletries for the bathroom would have been welcome (1 roll of toilet paper and 1 sachet of shower gel provided for 2 people for 6 nights). It got quite hot in the lodge in the day time with the large windows, we stayed in May, i suppose it could be even hotter in Summer.

The bathroom of my room was not as clean as expected. Something like a continental breakfast would be nice!

The hotel price is too much for one night stay. The staff doesn’t really help with the door if you have heavy items with you. Most of the staff just standing up doing nothing. Even though staying one night, it would be nice for someone to come clean the room but nobody did even though the reception said someone will come to do it as I was clocking out after 13:00 which I paid extra for. I couldn’t come and relax as the bed was a mess so had to clock out 12:00 even after paying extra. Some lights in the room didn’t work. The room was abit smelly and very small for £169 for one night - rip off The lifts door never closes properly to go up
