The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Handy for visiting Bempton Cliffs. Hot tub ready to use on arrival and was checked and maintained daily. Lovely lake and the site generally was clean, tidy, well maintained and quiet. Nice to sit in the hot tub listening to bird song surrounded by nature. The lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay - nice warm shower ( no supplied toiletries though, so ensure you take your own) Our small dog was happy and comfortable and enjoyed the tranquil environment.

Our lodge had ladder style stairs up to the double bed (loft style), which is not great if you have mobility issues and it felt a little claustrophobic so we opted to use the 2 single beds on the ground floor. There is no oven if you want to cook, but we found we managed with the 4 ring hob and microwave over the 3 nights we stayed. There is no shop on site, but again, we were out during the day exploring Bridlington and surrounding areas, so we picked up any supplies we needed daily. The hot tub was great but not fully private as we could be seen by the people in the next lodge if they were standing on their decking and we felt that some kind of canopy fully over the hot tub would be a good idea for times that you may want to be in it even if it's raining 🌧 There is quite a big gap at the bottom of the deck fencing (overlooking the lake) so if you have a small dog this could be an issue - (perhaps some chicken wire could be added for safety).

Very convenient location for all central Reading amenities. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The flat was spacious, and the building has an internal courtyard with benches for sitting outside.
Negative section of review
The down side of the central location is that there was a lot of outside light and it was quite noisy on the weekend nights. Worth putting up with for the convenience, but bring eye shades and ear plugs if that sort of thing bothers you. Also be aware that non-corporate bookings require a deposit, which is not clear on some booking platforms. (My deposit was returned promptly at check out.)

beats hotels , a restful room if you want to spent more than a couple hours in it without sleeping .

the loft room is at the top of the building , with two flights of steep stairs. tough for those with mobility issues

Beds very comfortable. Rooms clean.

The pans in bad condition, roasting pan still had oil in it. Toilet plunger broken. Bath very slippery but very clean bathroom. The towels had to be washed as though they looked like they had been, they smelled stale. Hadn’t realised it was very hilly. No one came to fix the toilet. Sofa very low and only three could sit. If more staying they would have to sit on kitchen chairs. Ok for us as only three of us.
