Most of the staff were fine, two very good (cleaning lady and young lady) but one in particular, a young bearded man, was unhelpful and borderline rude. The location was great. The pub itself was nice but some poor maintenance issues. Bathrooms could do with some updating ref bath/shower...either get a decent bath or a good shower...ideally both!!

See above ref young man. Some room maintenance issues. Cistern in bathroom VERY noisy for a long period on flushing. Dangerous broken metal piece on bedstead foot end which had been just botched together (ie not fixed...popped out when my (tall) partner stretched his legs) and some holes in the carpet one of which was disguised as a bin. Our smaller double room was the same price as the family rooms which seemed odd. I did hear from friends and family staying in 2 of these that the lights from the courtyard side which they were on made sleeping difficult for them. Lots of potential here...the breakfast was good (but very light on fruit with pancakes!). Needs some more attention to detail and more attention to replying to messages...most of mine went unanswered and only got a reply when our wedding planner got hold of them on site.

Yvonne and her staff were wonderful...friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The BB is right off of the square in Woodstock with lots to do...shops, pubs, etc. Blenheim Palace is a short walk away with lovely views. Parking was easy; however, this may be an issue during high tourist season. We would definitely stay again and plan to!

Great location to access Pyg Track and Miners Track in front of hostel and other trail paths behind it. I used this as my base for 1 night to run/hike around the area. I also like that there’s a bus stop outside to reach Llanberis. Comfy, clean and lovely staff.

Would be good if the toilets by the showers near ground floor/communal space had mirrors. More hangers in the dorm room.

The room had clearly not been cleaned for a long time and was in a state of in repair. Disgusting. No glass in window, boarded up with old nails, plaster board and sheeting. Very draughty. Carpet filthy and covered in bits. Socket next to bed broken and falling off wall and dangerous. Stains on sheets. Door lock broken and falling off. I had to wait in till guy came to screw back on before I could go out as didn't trust safety of my belongings. Radiator falling off wall. Ceiling cracked and falling in. Wallpaper peeled off and patchy. Bathroom bath panels gaps and filled with pillow case. Piles of dirty sheets left in my bathroom. No cover on ceiling light. Toilet leaking and running across bathroom floor. Had to stand on towel to avoid wet feet. Many more photos and videos available of all points. Couldn't move to other hotel as no places available. Demanded full refund, got £20 only. Definitely not worth £99 paid. NEVER AGAIN.

Parking. Not easy to know where to park intially . Wasted £25 parking somewhere else only to find there was hotel parking . Not well sign posted. Then when u need your car you have to get a valet to fetch it for you. Spa. Specially booked this hotel because of the Spa then couldnt get a booking for the two days we were there. Breakfast . This was included in the booking but then when you go for breakfast you find that it’s only continental and if you want a cocked one you have to pay extra. The cost of the hotel stay is expensive enough as it is!
