A great welcome, the pub doesn’t open before 17:30, but you can call them when you arrive to let you in. This is a lovely pub, with the accommodation in a separate block. Our room was clean, airy and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The pub has a good atmosphere, some well kept local cask ales on and a good choice menu at a reasonable price. All the staff were excellent. A fine breakfast the following morning set us up for the day. We will be walking the Shropshire Way in September 24, and have already booked to stay here again.

Mark and Trish welcomed us into this very comfortable accomodation with off street parking. Felt like home. The hosts were very accomodating and personable. The breakfasts were delicious and their knowledge of the area was most helpful. The location is central to exploring the whole area. Had a great stay. Highly recommended.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, as if we was the first to step through the door. Had every thing you could need for your stay. Owners very quickly respond to messages if you have any queries. Great view from the livingroom window . I will most definitely be returning

Great location, close to the bus stop. Great neighbourhood, quiet and beautiful. Shops nearby to buy essentials. Room had hangers for clothes. Provisions for tea/coffee. There was a place downstairs where you can get more tea/coffee stuff as needed.

Cleaning staff was super nice, and the coffee and boiler are really helpful, specially in winter days. The location is a bit far off the city centre, but you can still get there by walking a bit. The neighbourhood is quiet.

Clean, cozy and comfortable room with fresh towels and tea. Close parking and easy check in and out. Bus was right across the street and only 20 minutes to old Town Edinburgh.
