location very good , near train station and city centre, near the meeting place of our travel bus, the host friendly. the host called the taxi for us , very helpful. breakfast at 8-9am, we have to go to trip before 8am , the host open the breakfast room for us, so we can have milk, orange juice, cereals, fruit, bread etc. And we can make coffee tea at our room. So very good service

the heater of the room works only by control of the host, we had heater the first nigh, but not more heater the second night

The hotel location was excellent. Head doorman Paul Rushworth was very friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions of places to visit and bus/ train connections. The staff went out of their way to decorate our room for our anniversary leaving some unexpected treats for us to enjoy. We'd like to say how much we appreciated all of your kindness.

The garden area needs attention furniture sanding and staining paved area cleaning empty flower pots with weeds in very tatty parasols it is a very pretty garden which could be really enhanced by some TLC and also had a bar which was never open can't see the point of having it stocked if it is not manned and open

Our only concern was being next door to a pub which was very busy because of the celebrating patrons during this EARLY MAY BANK HOLIDAY. We needed to have a phone with a UK sim card in order to contact the owners to gain access to the accommodations...a problem if we weren't prepared. The info was embedded in an email that we saw later once we logged in using the free wifi.

I had a good contact with the holder of the apartment . He was always available if you wanted to ask for something. But, there is always a but! The sofa bed was not comfort because it was not a madras. They have only put one one quilt so you could feel the feathers of the sofa bed when you were sleeping. We couldnt sleep at all. But the other bed ( a real bed) was more comfortable. So i would not recommend this apartment for 4 persons. I contaced the house holder and he said that the housekeeper will fix it but nothing happened but when we asked for more toilet paper, we had it the same day! It was chairs for three persons only. It was only three towels but we got one more. So it wasnt good structured. They say the that we need to respect the rules in the apartment after 22. But i heard lots of sound the first night in the house. I texted the house holder and then it was better.

Parking is extra! We paid reception, I have the receipt.Since getting home we have received £100 parking fine. I contacted the hotel and they confirmed I'd paid but wouldn't help with the fine. I contacted the manager and he offered nothing other than if I proved I had a fine he'd try to help.This was after having to do all the work myself.im now waiting to see if they fine is rescinded. We are not the only ones of our group .watch what you spend AND KEEP all receipts.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on it was also two singles pushed together
